Hi, To set a limit for the number of rows returned, you could use the query option $top=100, where 100 is the number of items returned. The tricky part here is to have an identifier in the list which you will be using as basis for the paging. So if you are going to use the list's ID, you would have to set the paging button to query ... The entry 41315 to get 4/13/2015 would now need to have a specific time included, which would mean chaging the validation rule's conditions (pattern and string ... The field will still hold the value since it is still in the schema. One thing I noticed is that on the second action rule, the formula was not inserted as a function. You will need to click the fx button and enter the formula there. Please try ... Could you provide me with an example so I can try to create a custom pattern for you? Posted to Controls (Forum) by donstephen on 10-08-2015 Re: Date format in date control field type Hi, It appears that the Date field is using the formula as the default value, which is causing an issue on the concatenation. I have attached an updated form which uses a DateValue field (this is supposed to be hidden from the display) - this field uses the formula from the previous post, you could use this to submit the ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by donstephen on 10-05-2015 Re: Whole Number (integer) for Currency Format I am still unsure why you need a validation to allow numbers only. I am pretty sure you don't need to add the validation rule since setting the data type to Whole Number or Decimal already validates the value inserted. Is there a scenario here that doesn't work without the validation rule? Posted to Controls (Forum) by donstephen on 10-02-2015 Re: Date format in date control field type Hi, When using the InfoPath date picker, the actual value (for date time data type) would be like this: The actual value underneath the date picker is different from what your SQL database recognizes. I believe the date and time format for SQL is 2015-09-22 00:00:00.000. Could you try using a substring to get the dat only from infopath ... Could you provide more details and also the error you are receiving upon saving? I'm not sure what you need this validation for since setting the field data type to Whole Number already validates if the value entered aren't numbers. Hilary might probably be right regarding decimals. Could you also try setting the data type to ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by donstephen on 09-24-2015 Re: Date format in date control field type Hi, Could you try using the formula: substring-before(field1, "T") where field1 is the field which holds tne date and time value. What this formula will do is return all values before "T" and should return the date value only. Hope this helps.
