Are you referring to a list form or a library form?
List forms are stored as XML documents.
We provide a popular Web service called DBXL to map your XML docs to SQL.

Try setting the value before submitting. In other words, move the action up.

Hi Jan,
Have you tried using a rule in the form? You say data source, but that suggests you are using something in the list settings. Default value always runs - you can disable recalc on it. That might be worth trying. Otherwise, just add a rule to Field A and Field B that updates Field X by setting it equal to A+B. It will only fire ...

Sounds like the same issue people are running into with the checkin-checkout Web service.
If you need a quick fix, I recommend using qRules SubmitToSharePoint list command but it will require that the sandbox code service is enabled. It is on O365 but performance has degraded a bit recently.
If you are using O365 you could try converting the ...

Hi Kirsten,
I am guessing that you have a rule on the first topic that shows the second table. If you are using a formatting rule to control hide-show of the second table (or do a query), you may need to right click the topic field and go to browser and select to have it always post back. Why? Hi W,
You can run IE11 in compatibility mode. Click on the gear tool and select Compatibility View settings.
You might also look at the display settings for the multi line text box. If it is set to 100% width you could try setting the width to be a fixed number of pixels.
Let us know what worked for you.

Hi Laurie,
This may seem like a strange suggestion, but why not just create your own field-promotedProperty-column for monitoring checkin/checkout status?
Just add a rule that on form load that checks the field. If it's blank, set it to the current person, submit the form, and leave it open. If it's not blank, check to see if ...

They probably will not. The promoted values are stored in the manifest (XSF) under listColumns. You can export the XSN as source files and copy that section to the same place in the browser form's XSF just before publishing the new form. Then they should be the same. Or, just keep one copy and publish it as the filler until it is browser ...

Hi Liz,
First I would try changing the setting in the email data connection that controls whether the form is attached or not and whether it shows up in the view or not. You may have to remove the connection and re-add it and specify that it should be attachment only (i.e. not send the view). There was a bug between 2007 and 2010 that resulted in ...

Hi Rande,
You need something like this; (substring-before(substring-after(field, "T"), ":") * 60) + (substring-before(substring-after(field, ":"), ":"))
Note: this assumes date and time. If it's just try this: substring-before(field, ":") * 60) + ...
