Posted to General (Forum) by Shiraz Cupala on 06-14-2007 Re: Convert Data Connection You might tru dropping the FT15_Login.udcx from the URL you're putting into the dialog. This is very odd if you're using the same server. Is your dev box the same also or different? Maybe it has to do with a security issue whereby the server isn't accessible. Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by Shiraz Cupala on 06-14-2007 Re: Code signin problem Hey Thierry, This is very odd. The only time I see this dialog in this way is if the certificate is signed with a locally generated cert. Are you 100% sure it's signed with the official company cert tracing back to the authority? Note the behavior changed between IP 2003 and 2007. In IP03 you could go thru some steps to have that ... Posted to General (Forum) by Shiraz Cupala on 06-14-2007 Re: How to prevent sections from breaking across pages There is not a way to do this in InfoPath but there may be a way to do this by hacking the XSL and adding an appropriate CSS attribute to the section's DIV tag. I don't know what that would be but I seem to recall somehting like that existing. I'd look up the CSS reference on MSDN to find it. Note though that any manual XSL hacks ... The whole interface between InfoPath and Outlook has changed in 2007 to support the deep integration of the new email features. It's an unfortunate side-effect of adding new functionality. Sorry for the bad news. In addition, the value the product provides is quite exceptional. The development behind DBXL represents thousands of developer and tester hours over 3 years. To custom build such a solution with the same features (db mapping, workflow, permissions, versioning, notifications, add-ons, admin tool, more) would easily cost over quarter million ... Posted to Qdabra Database Accelerator (Forum) by Shiraz Cupala on 06-13-2007 TaskPanes[3] and TaskPanes[4] gone from InfoPath 2007 InfoPath 2007 has eliminated access to TaskPanes[3] and TaskPanes[4]. These were available in InfoPath 2003. If any of your code tries to access these panes you will encounter wierd problems as we have found that no explicit error shows up. It fails silently and then parts of code just run not as expected. Below are screen shots of how I did it (designer/editor). As you can see in my preview picture, the radios operate independently regardless of the section they're in.
