Is that the syntax you used, or did you use the proper full syntax for substring-after?  It would be: substring-after((now()), "T") That will pull the time off of every date/time stamp using the now() function.  It takes all text after the T, which is between the date and time in the results.

Why do you need to do full trust + administratively approved?  You can do the regular browser form with the userName() function and use the GetUserProfileByName web service all day long without having to do full trust or anything complicated unless you have some other unknown restriction.

I don't know of any way to generically make a form faster, but there might be a way to make your calculation more efficient.  If you give us some more detail on the calculation you're doing, one of us can probably give you some advice on making it faster.

I keep getting a error code Nan using the max function?  Using the count function when 2 people go in at the same time, it issues the same number?   Can you help?

Sure. If you put the now function in an expression box and look at it you can see a couple options.  I typically use the substring-after and then use the "T" since that seperates the date from the time. substring-after(now(), "T") You could break it down farther to eliminate the seconds if you wanted by just having ...
