  • Re: Collecting Data With Infopath - Access DB

Also, as a test, I tried designing a new form based on the same database. When I walk through the wizard, when I get to the last screen, here is what happens: Enter a name for this connection: (greyed out it says) InfoPath has created a separate connection for submitting to your data source. Enter a name for the submit connection: (but it's ...

Okay, so your form has an email submit connection that is called main submit. If you don't plan to use that, you might want to delete it -- or you may just want to rename it to something like 'Email Submit' to make it more clear. We need to figure out why your connection to your database (probably the connection called 'Main ...

  • Re: Calculating a date

Codeless solution looks nice. Although looking at the code I wasn't been able to figure out if leap years were taken into account. So I had no choice but create somthing by myself. http://alecpojidaev.wordpress.com/2008/12/30/infopath-codeless-programming-walkthrough-2/ web-based forms: OK IP 2003: not OK

  • Re: Can I Export the Logic from the Logic Inspector?

In manifest.xsf, there is a ruleSets element. If you open manifest.xsf with at text editor, and search for rulesets, you'll find it. The ruleSets element may contain one or more ruleSet elements, which contain one or more rule elements. The rule element will have a caption attribute -- that will be the name you gave your rule when you created ...

  • Re: How to get checkbox to return database value on query?

Hi, what I found was that to get it to work on my form, I had to make the responses map to "y" or "n" and have the field it maps to as a single character, otherwise, while it would allow me to check or uncheck a value, it would not display the value back as a check or uncheck when running a query from the form.   I ...

  • Re: Collecting Data With Infopath - Access DB

The main submit doesn't work?  What is the main submit connection set to submit to, that is, when you look at it in the data connections window (Tools > Data Connections), what information is in the bottom half of the window when you have the main submit connection selected? Usually, if 'Enable Submit' is greyed out in the ...
