Sorry Hilary, I didn't quite understand your note but I think I know where you're going with it ... Yes, the Form_ID is the primary key that is mapped to the DBXL node path but it's also set up as a foreign key. there is a column in every table called Form_ID. This worked initially as a good way to be able to ...

I'm using SharePoint 2003 and InfoPath 2003. I have two form libraries with different templates A & B. Template A creates Template B, but is there anyway to get Template B to go back and pull data from Template A? How can each created template B match up to the correct template A, since I cannot create a data connection ...

Hi Hilary,
The Form_ID column is mapped to DBXL::DocID. My mapping is LOOOONG and I created months ago so I don't remember much of this particular field as it relates to the form. I hope that helps. I can give you screenshots if that will help...
Thanks,
Phil.

Here is a link to a how-to guide on Office Online -- one word of warning, it is probably using the Office 2003 version of Northwind -- as I recall, the 2007 version is a bit more complex and this tutorial may not work as written with it. Hope that helps!

That didn't help anything. I am giving up for the day. Brain is tired.
I am getting a couple of other messages in my summary area. The form doesn't seem to like the JOIN properties if I use a query. It doesn't like the one-to-many relationship if I use several tables.
Does anyone know of a sample form and a sample Access ...

Once that toggle field changes its value to true, you can use conditional formatting. Under Button properties > Display tab > Conditional formatting you can control when the button is shown/hidden or even disabled based on the value of another field.

I do have a couple that are memo. I will change them and see what happens.
A couple of questions in the meantime:
Should the data upload when I open the email? Or do it when I receive it?
When designing my form, should I drag fields from the query fields or the data fields?
Thanks!

Forgive me -- I"m not terribly familiar with Access data types. From a quick search, it looks like 'text' in Access is the equivalent of varchar in SQL, so it should be okay. Do you have any columns for images, or that are a 'memo' or 'long text' data type?

Ouch! I have several fields that are text. If they can't be text, what can they be?
Thanks!
