Hello,
If you want convert from InfoPath 2003 solution to InfoPath 2007 then you have to follow these steps,
1. Open manifest.xsf file in design mode.
2. Tool -> Form Options -> Programming.
3. Select ‘C# (InfoPath 2003 compatible)' option in ‘Form template code language'.
4. Click on OK button.

You modified the field names or position in myschema.xsd as old forms nodes. In new form you can add the new nodes and do not change the existing field names and position of the elements in your xml.
If you want you can compare both template.xml files of old version and new version then you will get the exact change in new template.xml ...
