Hi, and thanks for your interest in DBXL.
DBXL hasn't been tested (yet) with InfoPath 2013, so we would recommend using InfoPath 2010.
I have seen issues on some machines where having two versions of InfoPath (e.g. InfoPath 2007 and InfoPath 2010) causes bizarre issues. You might be in one of those scenarios now, with both InfoPath 2013 and ...

I believe you could:
1. Edit the form and go to the form's promoted properties
2. Promote the fields under new column names
3. Save and publish the form
4. Edit the Sharepoint view to hide the old columns and show the new columns.
Would that be enough to satisfy the customer request?

(a) the sandbox service isn't running
(b) you're not a site collection admin.
I think, however, that you would get a different ...

What type of form is it? Is it bound to a SQL table? Bound to a SharePoint List? Was it created from a blank, new template? Does it have code?
Let us know more about your form, or attach it via the Options tab. It might be due to the type of form.

You can have a hidden field for Status.
It could be: Status=New, or Status=Submitted
When the form opens, the status is New. When the user clicks the Submit button, change the status to Submitted and the submit using your data connection.
Then you can have conditional formatting rules to disable fields if the value of Status is equal to ...

Can you execute the data connection that populates the dropdown (External Facility Name) and the data connection that filters (ExternalOwssvr) but without any filters, that is, to get all data back? I don't see anything in the rules to cause only the first option of the dropdown to filter, so maybe there's something in the data ...
