Hello,
If you adding the optional section then you no need to specify the tab orders on your form. Just add the tab order is ‘0' then it will work as by default order of adding the elements in the form.

Can you debug once and let us know what your error is? Where you are struck in that code?
Are you able to add your xml nodes to sortValues?
Do you want to just sort list or elements position by sorting order also? Can you give more details on your error?

qRules has operations that will work with any InfoPath form and some operations that will only work with DBXL.
In the case of Delete, it will work without DBXL (on any InfoPath form).
Could you share the command that you are using? I'd like to see what the problem could be.

I was not successful with the first method and the second suggestion of using the url that generates xml will not work in my case because I cannot modify the data connections. Great to hear that!
It looks like your main data source is based on a database query connection, rather than being built from scratch, so in such cases, the myFields node uses the dfs namespace. That's something I didn't really know either, so it's a good thing for us both to keep in mind :-)
