I've created a custom Submit button using rules, but how do I create a custom Save(Approve) button so that I can allow the manager to save the form and a custom messege will pop up and when the manager clicks ok the form will close and the manager will be taken back to the document library. Please help.

What version of IP are you using? This post has Javascript information. Also, this post has C# for the Infopath 2003 object model.
