It sounds like what you want to do might be better suited for a repeating table or repeating section, rather than a rich text box. These controls can easily have rows removed from them more cleanly than a text control can.
Programming in InfoPath can be confusing at first, but it is really little more than XML manipulation, ...

Ok, that makes sense. So I followed the instructions at:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb251021.aspx. Specifically the section for: Deploying a Fully Trusted, Digitally Signed Form to a SharePoint Document Library. I followed the following but I still just see black boxes ...

hi,
how do i set up an approval needed to be routed, in series, to as many as a few different managers.
any one of them can reject it at any time.
if the request is rejected, the workflow stops and the request is not forwarded to the remaining managers.
the request is rejected as a whole.
thanks.

What I would like to do is iterate through the repeating table, pulling each row out as assigning them to a single value to pass to a custom email ...

We have a taskpane tool that will show you the required fields. Doesn't work in browser mode since SharePoint doesn't support taskpanes, but if you're running the client, it could help people know where to go to finish filling out the form. Send us e-mail if you are interested. I'll try to get it posted to our site.
