i'll have to research the upload. isn't a huge breaker. i just don't want that "one" user uploading a document to make my life difficult :)

On second glance, it looks like those sum functions aren't really doing anything. You should remove both sums text and enclose the first half of the formula in a pair of parentheses. It looks like you are getting that error because in this line:
sdfs:dataFields/d:tblFHeader/d:tblSec7/@fld71U) + ...

Then use a custom list instead of a doc lib, because doc libs have both Name and Title with Name being the actual filename, and Title being the piece of metadata that tells you the "name" of the file. There is no reason to use a doc lib for pictures, so use a custom list where the name is the title, and see if that works.

Yay I'm done. Now I need to show them what I've done; see if they like it and turn it over to some real programmers (this means someone besides me the network administrator). Thanks for everyone's help on this especially Jimmy.

Hi Patrick and Ayoub,
Thanks for your response. Finally, I was able to render the forms via browser. You guys are absolutely right. I do have some other issues as below with the same form:
In this InfoPath form, I have a field "Manager". This field is reading Manager's name from Active Directory. This part works ...

Use the Build Dynamic String action in SPD, then paste a FULL URL (the one you pasted is not a full URL - they are much longer). Replace the part of the URL that references the ID of the form with a Lookup to Current Item > ID. This will set the dynamic URL to a variable that you can then use anywhere you want, such as in the body ...

Wouldn't that mean I'd need one at the beginning too, right after sum? I tried it both ways. It's still giving me an error pertaining to an end parenthesis. I don't know what else to check.

Hi warrtalon,
Thanks for your quick response. That's a great help.
It makes sense to use the full Forms Server URL and it will work definitly. I opened the workflow task using SPD 2007. I found out the place this url generated by the Out of Box workflow task

Hi,
I have Infopath 2007 form called Form1 linked to a access database. When a certain list box is selected to YES then this triggers Form2 to open.
How can I copy CERTAIN fields from Form1 to Form2 that was just entered? Using Visual Basic?
Or is it easier to do this another way?

That did it. Thanks again!
