  • Re: Can't Open Form on Network

Here's the message that I'm getting when I try to open the form that has been emailed to me. The form template associated with this form was moved or cannot be accessed. The form template "FAC Inspection Form" on your computer has the same form ID as the template associated with the form, but it is from a different ...

  • Views & Main Data Connection

Hi, I have found that a submit action to a main data connection from a secondary view doesn't work.  I guess I am learning here about views and what there limitations are.  Can someone confirm that this is the case? Submit actions to the main data connection only work on 1 view.  If this isn't the case, can someone ...

  • Re: Can we create Forms in InfoPath and then deploy then on an IIS NOT SharePoint Server?

At the moment SharePoint is the only way to publish web-enabled forms (forms that run in a browser), if that's what you're asking. If the people using your forms will be using them within InfoPath there are a few alternatives. For simple solutions, you can just specify the address where you want the form to be accessed when you ...

  • Re: Adding Nodes

Hi Hilary, I do I'm afraid, except it says that {http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2007-11-08T16:31:56}UID is unexpected. There is an InfoPath form published to a sharepoint 2003 site and I want to alter one of the data connections on the form so that there's sort order. When I click Data Connections from the tools menu and click to Modify one of the ...

  • Re: Data Connection to a SQL View

Thanks, based on your reply I created a new test DB on my PC and I can see the view perfectly. I suspect that I was having SQL permissions issues on our test server. Many thanks.

  • Re: Serialize and Deserialize infopath form data

Thanks Patrick.  I'll be patient! I am already using a webservice to save data to the database etc. But now it needs to be done in a reverse way. Using the xml as a blob can be understood as being the xml generated by the infopath form template, with al its sections and repeating data, these data's are then mapped to their ...
