Okay. Is there any more information in the error?
-
Okay - I added the expression box with the value in it - see if this works for you.

Feel free to attach your form under the Options tab if you'd like me to take a look

Can you walk through the email submit connection for your form template and see if it is set to include the template with the email?
-
So - based on the sample, I'd expect you to use something like:
xdXDocument:GetDOM("FormLogic")/Numbering/Item/Value[xdXDocument:GetDOM("FormLogic")/Numbering/Item/Number = count(current()/preceding-sibling::my:ReportItemRepeatSection) + 1]
If you are using an expression box in the repeating section to display the ...
-
If the form template is set to include the template on submit, yes, I'd expect it to include the XSN.
-
So - the issue is in your count of preceding-sibling.
What's the XPath for your repeating group in the data source task pane? Right click the main data source group and select copy XPath.
-
And, as I said, that won't make a difference (repeating table vs. repeating section - they have the same data structure). I'm guessing you've not used the same logic I did in your formula - what's the formula you are using? Click Edit XPath to display the XPath.

Okay - so you wrote a custom web service for inserting data? Can you modify that to delete / reinsert or update?
If not and you are wanting to use a stored proc to update - can you walk through your code in debug to try to track down the error?
-
Hi - templates - the actual template that you design in InfoPath for other people to fill out - are .xsn files. When you fill out a form and save the data, the extension for the data is .xml. Here's a link that may help - don't worry that it says it is for IP 2003, the same principal applies. :)
