How do I read and parse (select single node....) the Infopath'07 XML (data only) files using MSXML2 and VBA? I seem to be able to navigate and load the XML from SharePoint form lib but get a load error "only one top level element is allowed in an XML document."

Hillary,
Wow! It works. My condition on the list that changes is
DoorChanged is not equal to not(.) and
DoorChanged is not blank
Set DoorUpgradeDate = Today() or Now() to better see the date changing when you change the dropdown list of door types

But how would you insert a prepopulated row into a repeating table using this?

Thanks

I will make sure I am setting it on the right field- thanks!

Also, please make sure that a formula for the default value of your yes/no field isn't ...

Hello:
You need to set the rule on the field that is going to change. Given your example, you'd add the rule to the field that is bound to the Doors dropdown list. The rule would have an action to set a field's value. The field would be the DoorChangeDate field. Select the fx button next to the area where you can enter the value, and ...

My InfoPath form publishes to a Form Library in SharePoint and contains an "attach file" control. If a user attaches a file, I want the form library to display yes or no as a text value that can be promoted to the form library so that users will be able to see if one of the submitted forms includes an attached file or not.
