Hi,
Add a boolean secondary field with default value false. For each and every field in the form add an on after change event, and verify whether there are any errors in the form (thisXDocument.Errors.count > 0). If there are errors then set that field value to true. Add a conditional formatting to the button to hide/disable using this field. ...

Hi,
I have a form with a button. The button has rules that submit to the environment and close the form.
If the form has validation errors and the user clicks the button, a rather incomprehensible message is shown such as:

I have tried that and it worked well, but It only applied to the first row. The field that is setting the repeating row value is coming from another repeating table using Webservice as a query. I ended up replacing the condition not present to the condition I had placed to hide the control in the first place. That worked perfectly.
I have conditional formatting logic setup to hide/show control based on certain field values on the infopath form. I just replace the not present ...

Hi all, I usually don't dabble in infopath as I have other options open to me for forms creation and such. However it was at the request of a person that I create this form in Infopath.
Basically all I have done is modify the default Transport Request form to what the client required. I have it so that on submit it is emailed to the ...

Hi -- what about using rules to populate the fields? This would work if the drop down was bound to a field in the same group as the field that you want to change the value on. Otherwise, take a look at this InfoPath Team blog post on conditional defaults... it may help. I've used the second method mentioned quite frequently, and while it seems ...
