Euw. Thanks for posting what worked - it may help someone else who has the issue.

I'd take the second option, personally. And yes, this will show a new version for each and that you (or whatever account the code runs under) updated each - and I don't think there is a way around that - I don't think Modified By can be overwritten, although you may want to check around on that - see if you can change it to not ...

Thanks - let us know what you learn. I've seen that my code sometimes gets saved to a temp file, but on close seems to write to the selected location - but hadn't tracked through that since most of my IP 2013 stuff at this point has been quick testing for bugs in existing forms.

So you know - I was intending for you to have the hyperlink as a column in your list - I wasn't counting on you having a hyperlink control on your form as well. If that is the case, you may need to map a different field that you don't actually display on the form so you can submit the url, a comma, and the display text - does that make ...

Let me double check my syntax too - I'll let you know if comma followed by display is incorrect. :)

Well - I'm sure you know that this is a lot trickier to get right than just first letter of first and last name - since a last name like O'Brian or McAfee starts getting pretty tricky. But you could use translate and substring functions to try this - like:
concat(translate(substring(my:FirstName, 1, 1), ...
