Hey Ram,
InfoPath is smart about versioning so you can't just copy from one template (XSN) to another without incrementing the version number.

Hi Grey Monkey and welcome!
Why not create another data connection that queries the database and filters the results based on values in the form. Then, you can bind your combo-box to this secondary data source that isn't bound to the SQL main data source.

Hi Karrie and welcome,
For security reasons, Microsoft designed the Outlook mail envelope to be read-only. You can add multiple recipients using the cool eval(eval...) rule hack available here: http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2006/04/05/569338.aspx
Not sure why the other menu items are disabled. Maybe that's because your form already ...

Hi Aaron,
We provide a Web Service for SQL but not Access. Go to Qdabra.com, click Products, and DBXL and download it. You'll need to create a UDC file for the submit connection. The Web Service has tons of functionality and we have over 100 documents on this web site that explain how to use it. It's our most popular download and product ...

Hi LVirden and welcome,
Not sure how to do that. I want to say it can't be done based on some very old info in my head, but I'm not sure. One thing that is sure is that our ultra cheap Active Directory Web Service does support this scenario and we have numerous blogs written on how to do it. You can even get manager information and the ...

Hi IPSeeker,
When you are using browser-enabled forms you will need to setup a UDC file for the data connection and SSO if it's running on a separate server since SharePoint doesn't forward credentials by default and your Web Service probably doesn't impersonate some system account by default either.

Yeah, that's the easy way to do it without code. You don't need to write code to do the NO stuff. You can just filter the newly saved row in the SharePoint library/list using a column. Create a field in your form that auto-populates date-time on Submit (before actually submitting). Then, you can regrieve the ID using this value as a ...
