  • Re: CLear Date with Rule

Seems I had two rules.  One in receiving field, and one in [] field.  Once I removed the one in the receiving field, which was incorrect.  The [] works and clears the date when false. By you saying that, I realized I had put in the 2nd rule in the wrong field.  Thanks!

  • Re: Spellnumber in InfoPath

Hiya Ben,  If you'd be willing to attach your XSN to this thread or e-mail it to Hilary or me, one of us would be happy to look at it for you.  From the above information it's difficult to tell what might be wrong if it's not a misspelling (or mis-capitalization) of the XPath.

  • Re: CLear Date with Rule

I can't seem to reproduce your error.  What was the rule you used, precisely?  If I use a rule to set a date field to a blank value, it seems to work without any problems (see the attached XSN).

  • I'm Stumped About a Dropdown's Filter

I have a question that appears to be similar to http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/858/39921.aspx however any tweaking I have tried, gets me no closer.  I posted to http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/12158.aspx but have not received a reply.  I know that if there is an answer out there, someone here will have it.  I ...

  • CLear Date with Rule

Hello,  I have a check box that asks: [] Estimates Needed If the user selects it, it enables a Date Picker field. Now, if a user picks a date, then decides to uncheck Estimates Needed, I want to clear the date. I went to Estimates Needed checkbox Rule and added the rule. Now, it gives me this error: '#PCDATA' is in ...

  • Numbered List - Default Values

Hello,  I wanted my default numbered list to be: 1. Supporter ID 2. Response Trigger 3. Activity Code 4.  Activity Name 5.  So, can I have the Default filled in such a way that the 1st 4 items in the numbered list will be filled in (always required), so that #5 is actually the 1st field the user can fill in? Do I have to use ...

  • Re: Translating "," into "."

Ok I had hardly finished clicking post when I found this one out :-)  Of course I simply use the translate function in the Timar_pr_mann textbox it self so: translate(., ",", ".") Just did not think that a control could translate itself but that does not seem to be a problem.  Thank you anyway and hope someone else ...

  • Re: translate function to remove spaces for url

It's hard to answer without seeing the problem, because I never have this issue with dynamically referencing my forms due to spaces.  I'm always able to directly reference the Forms Services URL for my browser-enabled forms, which of course is much tougher than just reference the direct XML file for rich client use.  Maybe ...

  • Translating "," into "."

Hello Infopath team could you tell me why this does not work? What I am doing is taking values from Timar_pr_mann a repeating text box that has numbers manually entered into it and summing them up into a function box. I would like for the users to be able to use either "," or "." as decimal separators and am trying ...
