Sure, want to attach a screen shot of your template's schema under the options tab and tell me what you repeating group is and the name of one of the non repeating fields?
-
In your formula, it looks like you are wrapping your integer in single quotes - can you try w/out those?
-
I do not - I do know that the rich text field appears to accept just about any sort of nonsense and do the best it can with it - a colleague and I worked on a transform for IP Rich Text to WordML that was just.... hair raising.
-
Perfect, glad you are up -n- running. :)
-
Oh, sorry, your repeating group needs to be the bottom most in your parent group - see attached screenshot. I circled the nodes I moved - then both commands work as anticipated.
-
Good deal - so you know, I generally avoid default values except for tricky calculated things (like total price, etc.) that use main data source fields. I actually did this same thing once, not realizing that my secondary data source was going to re-calc each time the XML was re-opened. :-) Ouch.

The rule goes on the field bound to the drop down. The formula would be just like the one you used in the default value - you want to set the target field to the value from the 2DS where the Title = Supplier. The thing to remember about rules is that they only fire when the field they are on changes.
-
Use a rule instead of a calc'd value. If the calc is returning nothing it is overwriting your value.
-
Does the text box have a calculated default value? Or are you using a rule to set it based on the drop down selection? I think your data is being overwritten by the calculated default.

Hey- I'm sorry you didn't get a reply from your support email - I'll follow up and see what happened there. Thanks for the follow up!
