  • Jscript Addition Operator

I'm trying to do something very simple - adding two numbers. However instead of "adding" it's concatenated instead. I have set my field to Whole Number (integer) and in my jscript code basically just add 1  function check_version() {  var request_doc_version = ...

  • Re: web form and sharepoint integration

I avoid those buttons altogether and just put buttons on the form canvas where they make the most sense to me and where I can control their visibility with conditional formatting.  I put two custom buttons on most forms - one for submit and one for close.  My submit button usually sets some data fields, submits to the library, and THEN ...

  • Re: web form and sharepoint integration

Pls correct me if my understanding is correct. having a submit button on top panel or using the custom button to perform the submission based on data connection to sharepoint list, will submit data into sharepoint list. So far what i found out is that after you click these buttons [custom button or the submit button on top panel], and if you ...

It does seem like it would be pretty simple, but I just don't know of a way.

  • Re: Insert Blank Rows to Repeating Table

Thanks for the idea, I tried it and I lost the use of the ()username function, plus when I tried to open open Visual Studio Tools for Applications it made me change back to version 2007 anyway ... It seems I need version 2007 compatible code. Is there not an easier way to do this?  It seems allot of trouble just to add another row to a ...

  • Re: Insert Blank Rows to Repeating Table

Mars, this is just a guess, but you can browser-enable a 2007-based form that is saves as a 2003 file.  You can't do this from 2003, but you can do it from 2007.  Maybe try doing a Save As on your template and choose the InfoPath 2003 format.  Then, go back into the Programming settings to see if that 2003 option is there.

  • Re: Hide URL?

I don't know of a way to do that, so you may want to consider using the XMLFormView web part to display the forms in the SharePoint page (still browser-enabled, but only fill the web part instead of the whole browser).

  • Re: Another contact selector control with share point issues

So if you open a new Outlook message and put in that sag47 domain name, it won't resolve to a user's email address?  If you are having issues where the detected AccountIds are not resolving in Exchange, then that points to an Exchange/AD issue.

  • Hide URL?

Is there a way to hide the URL/address bar in a browser enabled form?  I'm trying to keep people from bypassing the dataviews and pages created for them and getting into the library directly...and yes I know that everything is hackable, but I don't want to help anyone along with that :) Thanks!

  • Re: Insert Blank Rows to Repeating Table

Hi Hilary, Thanks for the clarification.  My Form is browser-enabled, and when I go to Tools / Form Options / Programming only get 2 options in the drop down box, C# and Visual Basic. I also get a message saying "Script and depreciated object models are not supported in browser-enabled form templates". I am assuming that I ...
