Anyone know of a way to output into an expression "Dear John Doe," if you had a value in a text box from a query in this format, "Doe, John"?
Basically, I need to know how to reverese these two words so without the "," so that I can use it to addess someone formally.
Thanks,

I might be going down a very long and endless path here, but I am determined to get some type of filter ability in browser forms. I have a list of Bus Routes that only run on certain days. These bus routes populate a drop-down control in an Infopath form. I would like for users to be able to select a day of the week and then only see bus routes ...

Still no luck - same results.
I also tried the same xpath you suggested (and a few slight variations) attached to a rule on JobCode that set the value of the PayRate field with no luck.
Any other ideas?

We have a form that is going to be deployed to multiple SharePoint sites and I don't want to have to publish the forms to each SharePoint site. We want the form submitted to the same directory it was created from. ...

The expression box is considered to be at the same level as the repeating node, I think, and the text box is bound to a field in the repeating group, so a slightly different xpath is needed:
xdXDocument:GetDOM("Company Jobs")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/dfs:Company_Jobs/@PayRate[../@JobCode = current()/../my:JobCode]
We have to move ...

Hi Irene,
Yes, they can be used together. But I removed the CommandExecuted node in one command and forgot to in the other. Here is the fixed up form; let me know if it still presents problems.

The expression box was also in the repeating section. (I also tried a repeating table with the same results.)
The xPath formula I'm using in the expression looks like this (works as intended):
xdXDocument:GetDOM("Company Jobs")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/dfs:Company_Jobs/@PayRate[../@JobCode = ...
