Know what? That bit of troubleshooting you figured out is going to save you a ton of time in the future. When in doubt about how things are working, just throw all the fields you need to see on the form so you can figure out what's going wrong. You can always delete them once your logic is in place and working correctly.

I'm sorry, I'm confused - is the issue in your form? Or in your promoted property in SharePoint? The thing is - if you are setting the value to the ID, that's what we'd expect to see....The library you are submitting to isn't going to look up the SharePoint list value. You may want to set the dropdown to store a text ...

I'm going to guess that in InfoPath, the actual XML value of your date is something like "2013-04-02" and the data from SharePoint is probably "2013-04-02 00:00:00" or some such. You can find out by placing a text box or calculated value bound to the different fields on the form and set the format to display the XML value. ...

So - do you already have a method for calculating the total time? Or does the user enter that? Here's a sample form that may help you: http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/examples/entry41116.aspx

Well - is this a SharePoint list form, perhaps? Or is your ID field's data type set to a Whole Number data type?

Euw. I'd kind of like to try to reproduce this on one of my servers... So - what would the steps be for me to reproduce this?Use IP to customize the form for a ShP ListAdd columns to the list outside of the IP formTry to republish the IP form created in step 1

Well - I'd expect you'd need to create a navigator for the secondary data source - I usually use MainDataSource.CreateNavigator() for main data source nodes and this.DataSources["DataSourceNameGoesHere"].CreateNavigator() for secondary data sources....

Your blank email issue is from IP 2010 with Outlook 2007, unfortunately. You'll need both the same version.

Hi - are you using the same version of InfoPath and Outlook? Both 2010?
You don't need to include the Form Data since your recipient doesn't have IP. But I don't think the email will include the attached PDF files.
Are you changing views right before sending the email? That can also cause blank email.

You need to add additional instances of the repeating group under Default Values - right click the repeating group to get the option to add another. I'm not gonna lie to you - adding 300 of them is going to be pretty tedious and you'll want to make sure your form's performance is still acceptable with all those blank rows.
