I have a form and I need to have a unqiue number attached to that form when posting to a SharePoint from library.
I think using the date/year/seconds would be perfect but the number seems too long. I have also tried the SharePoint ID but that didn't work out.
has anyone figured out a way yet?

count(preceding-sibling::my:ActivityDetail) + 1

Is anybody using K2/Black Pearl with DBXL? We are doing a trial, so far so good, but have not tested multi-step workflow (the form is updated many times as it advances through each step) or the impact of a revised InfoPath form with existing active workflow items. Curious to know if others have any experiance dealing with this ...

Whoops! I missed something:

Hi:
Instead of selecting the group using the Insert Field button, just type in my:ActivityDetail (this assumes you are using the default 'my' namespace) after the ::
count(preceding-sibling::my:ActivityDetail) + 1
