Hi, see attached. Save the file locally, right click and select design. I added an expression box that returns the Text value from your secondary data source based on the ID in the drop down.

So - I did the same thing. I created an Access 2013 DB (with a single table, a couple columns). I saved it on my desktop. I created an IP form based off the DB. I can submit without any issues. What version of Office are you using? Did it come with Office 365, or is it a regular Office install?

So - are you saying that property promotion doesn't work even if you create a brand new form and publish it to a brand new library?

My guess here is that you are using a default value that uses your secondary data connection. And that the data connection queries on load, so it will always have the name of the person opening the form.

/my:myFields/my:ListTitle
The one with the default value is ...

Hi - I think you are saying you didn't have success with qRules in your form. Can you attach your template to a reply (under the Options tab) so I can take a look at it?
Although - I'm not sure what you mean by this:
[quote user="QueenieM"]I was not able to setup related list between the two lists within a single web ...

I'll see if I can repro this on my machine - it may not be until tomorrow afternoon that I have a chance.

I think this is an Internet Explorer security setting. Under your IE options, security tab, look in the advanced settings and under Miscellaneous there is a setting for data connection across domains.

This sounds right - I am thinking that perhaps the form load rules are running prior to the field being set - but I can't think of a way off hand to test that.
