See attached. Right click the attached file, save the file locally. Right click the locally saved file, select design to open in design mode. Then you can check the conditional formatting on the sections, and give it a try in preview.

In the New Item view, the default view, I have a secondary data source field which I want to use as a drop down list (Inventory Disposition). I am editing the choices but for some reason I can't set any of the choices as a default. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Lets say for example I have Column A as a drop down then two section that has two dropdown option. I want to keep the section hidden until an option is selected in column a. For example if Cow is selected In Column A Hide Section 2 or if dog is selected in Column A hide section 1. Is this possible? I am unable to attach images.

You can't add a filter to a dropdown that has manual choices. You could have two dropdowns if for some reason you want to use manually entered choices - one with all the options, and one with only the options that show when "A" is selected - and use conditional formatting on the dropdown controls to show / hide them appropriately.

Under the data tab in the ribbon in InfoPath designer, there is a "resources" button - the XML file is stored as a resource in the form. You can export it from there, and just add a data connection to your form to the same file - it can be added to the form resources when you add it. If you look at the properties for the column B ...

This is a XML secondary data source and I want use the button to set it equal to now(). The button does its job but I want to know if I can somehow format the outcome?
