Hello All, I have an infopath 2007 form which i host in a visual studio c# windows application. I have a master/detail on my form and a button on the windows form, when i click the winforms button i want to get the currently selected node from the master/detail section but i have no idea how to do this. I would really like your help! If it makes it easier, i am storing the path to the file in the infopath form and the file itself is left in the original directory. Let me know when you might be free to help. Or if you have a sample i can work from i can give it a go. Thanks, Erin

Hi Patrick, Thanks for the reply!! Unfortunately we have to use the local file system for what we are doing. Do you know of any code examples on how to open the file from within infopath 2007? Thanks, Erin

my form allows the user to search their local file system and ''attach'' documents (.doc,.xls and .pdf), now i have a hyperlink to that file however the hyperlink does not work as i've read since it's the local file system the link will not open due to security issues. ok so i've got that part working (thanks for your reply by the way) but i have another question.. the detail section, these values are not stored in a datasource of any sort rather i would like to be able to set them when the master has been selected and then i will programmatically enter the values at that time.. can this be done or do the values ...
