I created the form locally. I just tried to 'Publish' it to a Sharepoint Forms library and added a column for each data element. I modified my Submit data connection to go to that form library. Now when I submit nothing is added to that form library. My data source still says ''Main''. Now I'm really confused. Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-30-2006 Connect to Sharepoint List AFTER form creation Hello, everyone: I created a form then decided I wanted the data to be submitted to a Sharepoint list. I created the Submit data connection, but apparently there is something else you need to do. When I go to Data Source in the task pane I see ''Main'' and it's grayed out. How do I attach it to the Sharepoint list? THanks! Deb Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-30-2006 Re: Message Box With OK-Cancel? For the life of me, that Application.ActiveWindow.close(true) code will not work. Is that the JS version? I get ''object doesn't support this property''. You helped me with this earlier last week and I went back to that form, but can't find where that code lives. It's not a Rule nor part of the Submit action. SOrry to be so dense. On a happy ... Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-27-2006 Re: Message Box With OK-Cancel? Wow. That was easy. I just have simple text on the screen with the two buttons. Any way to make it look more like a modal dialog? Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-27-2006 Re: Message Box With OK-Cancel? OK. I don't have any experience with Views, so I guess now is the time. I'll check back in as I progress. Thanks, Stephanie! Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-27-2006 Re: Message Box With OK-Cancel? OK. So far so good. Now how do I change the OK case to go on with the rest of the form and the CANCEL case to close InfoPath? BTW, this is way over my head. I'm just copying and pasting.;-) Deb Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-27-2006 How to auto format data entry? I'm in the midst of an InfoPath project, so may be posting numerous questions as I go. I note the following in the online help relative to data entry patterns: ''You can create data entry patterns that define how users must enter numbers and text into a control . . . Note Patterns do not automatically format data entry into a particular ... Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-27-2006 Re: Message Box With OK-Cancel? Thanks, Stephanie. Hmmm ... what do I attach that code to? Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-27-2006 Message Box With OK-Cancel? I have a form that displays an information message box on form open. I need that message to have an OK/Cancel combination so that if, based on the instructional text, the user realizes they're in the wrong form, they can click Cancel. How might I accomplish that? Thank you! Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-27-2006 Re: Submit to multiple data sources Thank you, again! Great information. I'm reading Patrick's book online as I go, so that was kind of neat to see his posting. BTW, that is too easy. I keep expecting this stuff to be harder. ;-) Posted to General (Forum) by CycleFitness on 03-21-2006 Page 7 of 8 (80 items) « First ... < Previous 4 5 6 7 8 Next > Copyright © 2003-2019 Qdabra Software.
