• Re: calculate cels

    I'm not sure what you're asking here, could you have an example? If you want the sum of 7 columns per row, this should be as simple as: col1 + col2 + col3 + col4 + col5 + col6 + col7 = col8

  • Re: created two views, but only has one View.xls file?

So, there is only one XSL file when you extract the form files even though you have two views? This is very interesting. If you don't mind, please e-mail me your XSN for further investigation.

  • Re: stop repeating in table, max rows.

The edits that Kalyan is refering to are in the XSD file for the DOM that you are talking about. If it is the Main DOM that you are referring to then you will want to extract the form files to a new folder, open the ''myschema.xsd'' file in a text editor, find the line that references this particular element, and make the appropriate edits. If ...

  • Re: Need Help with Set Command in vbscript

I'm not a big vbscript guy, but I pretty sure I can explain this statement. Let's start with the right-hand side, like the compiler does. First we want to use the selectSingleNode() method of the DOM instance for the XDocument object to select a single node from the Main DOM of the form. After this node is selected we want to store the result ...

  • Re: How to find horizontal Ruler

I don't think InfoPath provides a ruler, which I know can be very frustrating, especially when you start getting into nested tables that display differently in the designer than in the runtime. One thing that you might find useful is to use the built-in magnifier from Windows. To launch this, hit WindowKey+R, type ''magnify'', then hit enter. I ...

  • Re: Infopath connections

This is an important feature of the new release of SharePoint + InfoPath called Universal Data Connections, but in the mean time you might want to check out our product that accomplishes this task via a command line utility: http://www.qdabra.com/proddetail.asp?prod=QDeployment Otherwise, your stuck clicking and pasting in the designer, sorry. :(

  • Re: Conditional Formatting

Well hello Ms. Dazed and Confused and welcome to the forum! Hopefully after spending a little time here you will be able to change your name, haha! I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish here, but it sounds a lot like a master/detail repeating section - have you looked into this before? Otherwise, does the first list have to be ...

  • Re: Customize an expression box or a vertical label

Hello larniel, You might be able to accomplish this by using the eval() function, but I'm not sure quite what the syntax would be in this scenario. For more info on this function, check out this post on the InfoPath blog:http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2006/04/05/569338.aspx Otherwise, you can control the text that is displayed in an ...

  • Re: Change the caption of the InfoPath

I'm not sure that you'll be able to do this. You might try adding that line of code in the OnContextChange event handler so that the new title bar is constantly overwritten. This might affect performance and it is kind of a hack but it should accomplish this.

  • Re: created two views, but only has one View.xls file?

Hey Fred, Each view is stored in its own XSL file, so the name of the file you are looking for is going to be something to the effect of <Name of Second View>.xsl. If you open this file I think you should find everything that you're looking for! I hope this helps, good luck!
