So - I'm not sure, as you didn't include pictures, just your form (and the form has the compiled code, not the source code). But my guess would be that you need to actually copy the Microsoft.SharePoint dll onto your local machine and reference it in the code references. This is presuming you are doing your development on a machine without ...

I read from a book about how to upload file attachments in forms to a document library. So I tried to design a InfoPath form with using a file attachment control and submit button and using code for submit button like attached file.
Now my problem is I have some errors in visual studio tools for application like below and attached pictures ...

List forms already have a field for attachments. You'll need to use that in order to save the attachment to the list. You should be able to just drag the field from the fields taskpane onto the form.

Well, I'd probably put the secondary data connection on the form somewhere - the query and the data fields. Then I'd add a button that just queries the data connection. That way you can test by manually putting a PO box in the query field and clicking the button to run the query. That may help you track down the issue.

I have a form that has two views, the default view, New Item, has some secondary data source fields. I would like to add another field that gives the user the ability to attach files. How can I create a file attachment field through xml and/or how can I add this field on the main data source? Also this form pertains to a sharepoint list.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a control in an infopath from that seems it once query'd data from a data connection (to Oracle). It should work like this.... There is a PO# text box where someone can enter in a PO# and is should query a supplier name within another text box once that number is entered in. I can't seem to get it to query ...

I think you are pretty close here. In the new view, you can see that the checkbox will store "yes" or "no" for its value, and the checkbox in the edit view, for the main data source field, is true or false. InfoPath won't let use change the values used for a checkbox bound to a secondary data source field in the designer ...

You would have to manually modify the schema file to change that. It would involve saving the form as source files and changing the XSD for the data connection. Is having the data type a string causing you issues?
