You may need to try to repair Office / InfoPath. You did install the tools for applications as mentioned in the screenshot?

There is an undocumented parameter you could use - ssappid. The description is: "Secure store application id to use if user is logged in anonymously" - so I think you'd be able to use a secure store app id?

Yeah, copying rich text via rules isn't supported OOB. And the issue with the filter on your repeating section is that it will always reference the first instance of the repeating main data source group.
