Maybe you can place some conditional formatting on the button to hide it when a value is true.
Then set the value to true (whatever field you set up to hold this value), do your normal print stuff, and then set the value back to false so the button appears again.
Not sure if that will work in your scenario, but worth a try.

Try creating a SQL View, and selecting the view instead of manually writing the select statement.

Inserting into the main DOM is always slow. A couple things to account for:
1. Always turn off auto update before doing a lot of insertions. Turn it back on when done.
2. Watch out for event handlers being fired when you insert into the main DOM. Create a flag variable identifying that you are doing inserts, and telling event handlers (i.e. ...

As I understand it, InfoPath will ONLY connect to a SharePoint default view. I could be wrong, and I'd love to hear a workaround, but that's my understanding.
One possible workaround is to not use InfoPath features to connect to the list, but write your own code to connect to the list--then you might be able to pick out whichever view you ...

Since you are using a secondary data source (2DS) , it's just DOM methods like you would use on the main DOM. You just have to request to get that 2DS before selecting your node value.
For example: thisXDocument.GetDOM("My2DS").selectSingleNode("/Root/List/Option").text would select the value of the first option in a ...

InfoPath forms are just XML. Write your own XSL transform to create the ASCII file you want. Then use code to apply the transform. This can also be an external process if you want.

Don't manually populate your drop-down list box control. Instead bind its options to a secondary data source. Then you already have a repeating list of text boxes.

That works too! Good job!
