• Re: Infopath - SharePoint - Access

    When I select Publish, I then select 'To a SharePoint server', then it asks me for the location of the SharePoint site, then the option of Document Library or Site Conten Type, the Create new library or Update existing library, then it asks me to manually select all of the columns to include in SharePoint. Is this what you ...

  • InfoPath to SharePoint List Tool Feature

    The need is to replace the current Newform DisForm and Editform with infopath forms because of Infopath form flexibility.This should work seamlessly. Will the "InfoPath to SharePoint List Tool" emable me to accomplish this? I only have admin writes to my site not the server. I am not the server admin. ...

  • Re: Infopath - SharePoint - Access

    Look at Publishing your form into Sharepoint (file-pub) it will offer you to create a file to give to the Sharepoint admin to deploy, when deployed it will create the columns you specify in the dialog box in Infopath as Content-Type, then you can add the content type to a list and the columns will be usable in the list, no column to add manually.

  • Re: Open Exiisting Infopath Form from within

    Hi Bricey, ... I guess you can open an infopath form within a form with the following code: using Microsoft.Office.InfoPath; using System; using System.Xml; using System.Xml.XPath; using System.Web; string form_URL = MainDataSource.CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:URL", ...

  • Re: GUID's and repeating sections

    I have happened upon a property in the "section properties" that looks like it might help. "Do not include this section in the form by default" would presumably forget the section exists until the user does something, such as checking the relevant check box. I now see that this allows you to turn the section into an optional ...

  • Re: GUID's and repeating sections

    Each section is a different type of financial product, we have 6 different sections, all of which are hidden from the user, till they select the product they need to fill in, at which point when the relevant check box is set to true, the field appears. We would like all the fields to be empty (or even classed as inactive if this is possible) ...

  • Re: GUID's and repeating sections

    This would be considerably trickier. Setting the value of a field in a specific row of a repeating section is inherently difficult. Is it critical that the inactive rows not have GUIDs? I'm not sure what your scenario is, but might this cause the issue of a row getting an entirely new GUID if it were made inactive and then ...

  • Re: GUID's and repeating sections

    Excellent, thank you very much. I'm also struggling setting a rule so that this GUID field is empty unless a check box is set to true to indicate that this section is "active". I think I need to set the rule on the Check Box, but I'm not quite sure how to construct this. Can you help with this please?

  • Re: previous Month

    To get the number of the previous month, this formula should do the trick:(substring(xdDate:Today(), 6, 2) - 1) mod 12 + (substring(xdDate:Today(), 6, 2) = 1) * 12
