Hello, I want to add custom code (VB) to my Access database connected form which will generate a filename and path when the user clicks Save. I've added the following code to the save behaviour but I'm having trouble figuring out the syntax to pull data out of fields on the form. This is my code:
Public Sub FormEvents_Save(ByVal sender ...

Yes, it should work that way. Feel free to try it out.

this should worhk after the change of the year?
If i change the date of my computer, and now is January that is 1 the previous should be 12 so December it works so.
-
I can try to explain how it works if you really need to know, but that formula should work just the way it is without any modification.
But on second thought, the mod 12 part is unnecessary. This should work just as well:(substring(xdDate:Today(), 6, 2) - 1) + (substring(xdDate:Today(), 6, 2) = 1) * 12
-
Can you explain me the mod 12 entry?
I don't understand because you use the (substring(xdDate:Today(), 6, 2) = 1) * 12, maybe i don't undersatnd the logic of mod 12.......
Please forgive my poor know how of xpath.

I hope this is what you are talking about. I just took out href="file:///C:" and <my:txtHyperLink>http://</my:txtHyperLink><?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><?mso-infoPathSolution solutionVersion="1.0.0.820" productVersion="12.0.0" ...

That certainly is puzzling. Would you mind putting up an example of one of these XML files on here so someone could look at it?
