You're saying that when you close the first browser form, it automatically re-opens the same form again? Do this for me:
Go to Settings > Form Library Settings > Advanced Settings > Click on "Display as Web Page"
Go back to the form library and click the new button (should open in browser)
Look at the full ...

You didn't come across negatively or as spoiled. I just wanted to share how it felt from my point of view without speaking for others necessarily. Your 'client" situation makes sense, and I understand. We in IT always have "clients" whether as consultants or just internal IT - it's really all the ...

Lisa, hear me out, because I'm struggling with this. I hope you've seen that I have a strong, genuine desire to help anyone without prejudice. I even go beyond what most are willing to do in terms of providing direct, marketable expertise towards resolving issues directly within templates and solutions (that's the point at ...

You're in luck - this can be done, and I have proved it in my own forms. Credit to our own Alec Pojidaev from this forum for the codeless solution. Btw, you should not need any sort of web service for sending email notifications unless it's something really ...

The reason why is because we certainly have an easy method for getting AD info about the current user automatically, and we can easily extend that for other users, but the user has ...

And to be clear, this data is not relevant to the user opening the form, right? That's key to know.

I'm not sure what is causing your error or how to fix it, but I do believe the Qdabra DBXL tool can do this for you seamlessly.

Actually, username is the way i always reference people and always teach clients to do that. It's the only unique identifier. Trying to use first and last names is very hit and miss. Anyway, why not just click the button to look up the user? Isn't that what people do in Outlook - go to the Address Book and find ...
