Hey Ben.
I am not sure I compeletly understand what you are looking for.
You can use a filter to show all HWversion where HWType = a field or constant.
I think you are trying to display it. If this is in a repeating tabel or section you may be looking for the current() function to refer to the current record and not the very first record. ...

Yah I understand.
As you know SharePiont does not have anything built for this.
You could maybe create something in designer but with a SRS report you would just embed it into SharePoint or use the built in web parts in SP2007.

I would evaluate whether you need Full Trust or not. If it is required to run some code in the backend there may be some options to move that code to a web service and remove the full-trust requirment.

I would guess it has to do with your table relationships.
You may need to create a seperate data connection for just products.
Do you have a lot of records?
I can show you how to also query your secondary data connections.

So you want to select multiple items in a multilist check box and then have a rule which does an action on each check?
You may want to start with a single dropdown and have a rule which sets a checkbox field to true.
You could put this in a repeating table and get the ability to select each item individually.
I have not tried ...

So you want this layout in the InfoPath form or in SharePoint?
It would be pretty simple in InfoPath other than the map display but I have had a link for that in forms.
Actually I think if you were extracting the data then you could maybe do this in a SRS report.
Email me and I could show you a sample.

XML is pretty rough to look at.
Typically your users would need InfoPath to view the data or you would use IPFS in MOSS 2007 to render the XML in a web browser.(would not need InfoPath)
Another option would be to place your InfoPath data in a database and use web reports or excel for others to view the data.

OK - Welcome to the forum.
You must have some fields in your main data source, under data fields that you want this data stored. The user will choose a contact state and then the contact and this will get placed in the data to be submitted to Access. Correct?
You do not really need to create another data node in your main ...

Hi Kurte.
Merging is problematic at best since it has very little control over how it works.
There is a better way though. You can extract the data from your forms into relational tables and then can report on the aggregated data via Excel or web reports, interface the information, etc.
If you want to be able to leverage the information then ...

Oh sorry, I thought this was an issue with the publishing path but you are right you need to watch the conneciton path in the ODBC connection to the database too. Otherwise when it tries to connect it will fail if they do not have that path, in the case of a mapped drive.
