  • Re: Multiple Selection Boxes - Validation Question

I REALLY REALLY don't like these multiple selection boxes.  I am tearing my hair out here ! I can't get my head round what you are trying to achieve with the counting - cos I can't get it to work. Is it the case that default values based on multiple selection boxes only get updated when something is de-selected from the box and ...

  • Re: Submit to DBXL

No I haven't received anything... Hilary has had problems sending me stuff in the past.  Even the notification that someone has replied to my post on this forum is 'censored'.  I think Hilary put it on a "secure download" location for me to pickup last time. Catharine

  • Re: New to Infopath with a question on managed code

I had tried that code already, it compiles and executes without error and even the 'From submitted successfully" message displays,  except that it does not update the database.  I guess this is not possible to update the sql database using managed code using Microsoft.Office.InfoPath namespace classes and ...

Thanks Patkick, This seemingly trivial change to my form has turned into quite an ordeal.  I wrote this message on a previous post in the NewBee forum. "I have a form with 2 data connections, email and sql database. On submitting the form using the submit button on the toolbar it works just fine.  I use 'custom action ...

  • Mass Refresh needed of Infopath docs in SP Doc Library

I have a sharepoint document library that receives submitted items from an Infopath form.  All documents are in and I have to promote all fields that weren't included in the original publication. Now, the data in the recently added columns won't display unless i open and close each xml document - Is there a way to do this all at once ...

  • Re: preventing duplicate values in a repeatable section

Can you go through this post? - and see if it helps you.. Definitely you cannot copy the rule, but see if you can modify and make it work for your repeating section.

  • Re: DBXL search form

Thank you Jimmy. Your response works great. As you can see, I am 'developing' (more like modifying) a search routine that will alow us to search through our policies. Since there are a couple hundred of them, in 9 departments, it dawned on me that a simple listing would be more than a little cumbersome, if not almost ...
