How to set rules on form loads ???
Can you please elaborate this a bit more.
-
create a recieve data connection to your doc lib and get ID from the connection, just before submitting(for first time submit) query the data connection and fetch the highest ID and use that for the naming purpose
-
if the forms are similar you can use only one form having different views and on form load set a rule that checks whether the logged in user is manager or employee and switch the views accordingly

Hi
I have a infopath template in a SP Doc Library. The form has rules set to auto number the forms on open, this works fine. However if I have one new form open and another user also clicks on the new button, before the other form has been submitted it causes me submit problems. Is there any way to stop this ...

browser enabled infopath 07 forms dont seem to get along good with printer settings. i dont know why and i have stopped wasting my time on that, i had got that kind of issue also..
printer settings work best for infopath client

Preceding means it contains all nodes that are before the context node in document order. Look at my previous post link where I did something similar to what you asked - but you need to modify the rule to make it work for the repeating section.
Hope that helps!

That is a little bit of genius Qazi. Thanks :)

there are atleast two ways of doing it, the recommended one is
1) relinking the documents to the library to do so
a) go to document library -> settings -> document library settings -> relink documents to this library and check the documents and click relink selected documents.
