Is it possible to apply CSS styles to the Contact Selector or otherwise modify the visual style of the control? The default font is huge! No matter what I set it to in InfoPath it will look fine in the InfoPath client but the default font (looks like Verdana 14pt) in the browser.
Thanks in advance.

I have a Sharepoint list, that will be populated by some process. The list will potentially have let's say, 25 columns of information, with each item of the list being one record with a key of let's say, Policy Number. The said process will create say, 10 records, so 10 policies.
The user will go to this list, click on Policy ...

I just wanted to post our solution here, in case another user searches on that error code! As per this post, this error occurs if there are any validation errors in your form when a submit data connection is executed. Since this command uses a submit data connection, we need to make sure that there are no validation errors in the form prior to ...

I have a form with a datasource of MS SQL 2005.
The form uses a master detail config to two tables in the database.
In the master table I have a field of VARBINARY(max) where I would like to store and retrieve attachments when records are saved and queried.

The error says the Internet address is not valid.
Details of error (I took out the server name, etc):
InfoPath cannot create a new, blank form.
InfoPath cannot open the form. To fix this ...

Thanks for the reply. I did read this article before posting this one. What I ended up having to do was instead of sending the information to the web service as a dataset I sent it as a string. I then stripped out the differences between the main and secondary xml and read that information into the dataset on the web ...

Looks fairly complicated. I really only have one piece of knowledge that might be usful and that would be to explore the use of CAML to submit changes to the secondary data sources. This is working well for me.
Searching for CAML and/or UpdateListItems might get you started. My posting walks through my adventure to get this working and can ...

Unfortunately, InfoPath only allows email data connections to either send the
form as an attachment or to send the current view. It would be nice to be able
to choose to send neither.
But with that in mind, it sounds like your best choice is to send the view.
Here you could have a separate view that gets sent, but you must know that it ...

Hi Catharine,
Can you add a separate email data connection that doesn't include the attachment? You can use concat and eval to build a list of recipients in an ad hoc manner. You can also switch to a separate view that you use for the email.

Use a repeating table and bind it to your secondary data source (in this case, it's your SQL table). To do this follow these steps:
1. Add a repeating table.
2. Right click on the repeating table, and select 'Change Binding...'.
3. Select secondary data source, and select the table name and click next.
4. Select the columns you want ...
