I customized a SP List form in InfoPath 2013. This submits to the List.
I added a Data Connection to send an email when the Submit button is clicked. That works fine, but now the form does not submit to the List, it just send the email.
How can I get the form to submit to the list and send an email?
Thanks
John

This appears to be working!!!!!! I thought I had done this previously, but since I'm kind of new at conditional formatting with InfoPath, I was obviously missing something. Thank you so much!!!! We have an Infopath form that has a Notes section that is a repeating text box data type. We need this Notes section to contain a log of the previous entries along with the newest entry when an item is edited. Is it possible to convert this field or is it a case of adding a new field?

Yup! you can add conditional formatting to your sections to show / hide them. I'm attaching a simple sample - save the file locally, right click and select Design to open in design mode, then you can preview & try it out.

Any ideas why InfoPath would all of a sudden begin throwing invalid URL message on form publish to SP2016? USL logs show access denies when GET or POST requests are sent from Infopath client. The user sending the infoapth POSTs and GETs is the admin for the domain with Sharepoint full control. Not sure why Sharepoint would deny. I can ...
