You can use filter condition to filter your data. Attached a sample template with two drop downs, and added a SQL data connection. Let me know if you run into issues. Good Luck!

This is hard one as there are a million possiblities. Initially check your data connection and make sure you didn't add your details as the default value when you set it up. This is easy to do as the wizard windows follow each other and are very similar. Try that before I go into a major ramble! Cheers
