Is this a browser or a filler form? I had another qRules user where we tried using an Insert command and some form logic to do something similar, but she ran into trouble in the browser (form worked as anticipated in preview / filler).

GetErrors will return the field and the validation message - try it and look at the result if you run just that command. I sometimes copy that info into another field for display on the form. I also use custom validation so that I can return helpful error messages for the user. If the Result of GetErrorCount is greater than 0, the form has data ...

Oh euw. I forgot a browser form won't support last. Let's try with a count of the rows.... Are you using query fields to only return the rows you need? If so, we may not need the filter on submitter and kxwq.
xdXDocument:GetDOM("Mileage return data")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW[(d:submitter = ...

Try this:
xdXDocument:GetDOM("Mileage return data")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW[(d:submitter = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:Driver0/pc:Person/pc:DisplayName) and (d:kxwq = ...

What is the error you are getting? Can you select the edit XPath checkbox in the formula editor and paste it in a reply?

So - when I saw your post originally, the first thing I did was try to promote a repeating rich text field - and found just what you did - that we can't "merge" if RT.
You are right - if plain text, you can merge.
I'm attaching a template that uses double eval, so you have a sample. The concatenated text won't have the RT ...

Hi -
Let's see. I think what I would try is:
Create a data connection in the form to the same list the form submits to.
Make sure the form submits the userName() to a field - like, I'd add a field called "Submitter" and then on form load, if submitter is blank, set it to userName().
Select whatever you use to identify ...

Euw. Sorry! Can you promote the field in the form you use for the form name, so you have that in the library as well? Another option is to use an owssvr.dll connection, but I find those to be sort of slow.

What is the data source you are using for the dropdown that they can select employees from? I would add a data connection to the form library where the XML are submitted, and use that for the dropdown - with the employee name for the display (promoted from the form) and the "name" from the library for the value.

There are a few approaches you can take here - I'm attaching a sample form with two repeating tables. One displays the non repeating fields as calculated values. The other has fields in the repeating table that use defaults. Save the file locally, then right click and select design to open in design mode. From there, you can preview the form, ...
