Set it to Use formula and type in count(current()/preceding-sibling::my:group6) +1
Replacing group6 with the correct XPath for your form's schema.

Actually, that's the thing - I used the insert field or group button to select the field from the data source, then manually created the filter (the stuff in the square brackets) - which I know is not a lot of help when you are learning this stuff. :)

In your calculated values you had the formula entered as text (but you may have done that to show me where you wanted things) - try this one. I fixed up the XPaths to point to the group the calculated value was in....

This is where the RefreshListItems command comes in - I probably have a version 4.2 blog post on that (but the general idea remains the same) - run your refresh command on the QdabraRules finishedLoading node with the condition finishedLoading = true
Let me know if you need more help. :)

Attach your form to a reply under the Options tab & I'll give you a hand. What you'll need is the path to the group - usually it has to be manually entered in a more complex formula. :)
-
Yep - this is because of your mapping. In the latest version of the mapping tool I think the field is called "base path" - that should be your repeating node. If you need more info, let me know and I'll go take a screenshot. :)

Wonderful, thank you for letting me know you got it working.

Here's the sample again in IP 2007. In my sample XML I've got the numbers & letters then am using a filter to get the right one.

You would enter the XPath to the repeating group for the list to replace this: xdXDocument:GetDOM("States")/states/state
So - probably: xdXDocument:GetDOM("Market Country")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW

What version of IP are you using? 2007? I think the template I saved was 2010, I'm happy to change the compatibility setting and repost it. Be sure you are saving locally and right clicking to select Design to open in design mode....
