First of all, thank you for your support. After filling out the form, the user has to press the SEND button. A separate e-mail address will be defined for each application and forms will be sent to these addresses. In short, rules will need to be added to Application1,2,3,4,5,6 sections for sending e-mails. If you can make an example, I'll try ...

I added the form load rule, a read only view, and conditional formatting on a couple of controls on the edit view. It is challenging with list forms - I can't test any of my changes, so they may not be right, but hopefully will at least point you in the general direction :)

I added two validation rules to Information 1 - hopefully that's enough to get you started. I don't understand the question on email - I don't understand where the email address is supposed to come from.

Thanks a lot for your response Hilary! I'd like to update only one SP list. Since I connected to the same SP list as secondary connection for loading Drop down and setting field values, I'm unable to update the secondary list. I couldn't figure out a way to load choices from Main connection and set field values (which will avoid the ...

Hi - welcome! So I might just add some view switching rules on the Form Load rules to handle for this, or you could use rules to disable controls in the form - up to you. But for the first item, for example, if the result of the userName() function is equal to the creator account ...

So - are you using "cannot be blank" on the fields? If so - you will need to change that. Because in InfoPath, our only option to save data with button rules is to Submit, and submitting runs the form validation, which means that your new "save" button would not work. The only way to ignore validation rules is to set the ...
