I had a form that worked fine and still does on my pc and others except for one pc.  The form is designed in 2007 infopath, saved as 2003 with backward compatible 2003 vb code.  Form is not a web form.  The user that the form does not open correctly on was using infopath 2003, and he has since been upgraded to infopath 2007.  ...

I doubt that this is your problem, but it is something to be aware of.  Service pack 1 for office 2007 will cause some things not work correctly with previous versions of office and infopath.  I had the problem with code working, I uninstalled and reinstalled office and infopath without service pack one, redeployed the forms, and 2003 ...

are you submitting to a form library in sharepoint or just email?  if you are submitting to a form library, then in yoru data connection you have to select overwrite files if it already exists.  It will not allow the form to submit if you do not have this selected and keeping the same form name. quince,  if you are doing a feedback, moss supports this out of the box as a list type.  It will create all the stuff you need to conduct a feeback, survey in a matter of minutes.  I would check into it as it is easier and quicker than it would be developing a form in infopath and then attaching necessary workflows. I am not to sure.  I know when i have queried a sharepoint list I got every single one back and had them populate repeating table.  You might have to use a caml query to pull which one corresponds to the one listed in the list box.  Or without code you might be able to use filtering within the info path form.
