Dave Posted to Code (Forum) by davidair on 01-15-2008 Re: Timer in Browser form Hey Chris, Forms Server business logic runs only on the server during the postback. So if a postback was not initiated by the user you cannot really do anything. Consider this: - A user clicks a button - The form is submitted to the server and your code runs - Your code sets a timer, then FormsServer finishes rendering the form and sends it back ... I am not sure if there are APIs in Java to directly extract from those programmatically. Microsoft distributes the Cabinet SDK (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310618) which contains command-line utilities such as Extract.exe which you can execute from your Java code. Let me know if this temporary workaround fixes ... For example, if your control is called XmlFormView1, you can do the following in your code-behind: this.XmlFormView1.DataBind(); // or else XmlForm will be null XmlForm xmlForm = this.XmlFormView1.XmlForm; And then you can party on ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by davidair on 01-07-2008 Re: New to InfoPath pls help its urgent The only controls that can be used in the InfoPath form are InfoPath controls so the short answer to your question is "no, you cannot use Windows Forms controls in your form". The longer answer is that you can display WinForms from your code so that win form can contain any WinForms controls. For example, you can display a winform as a ... You will need to implement the OnContextChange() method and change your picture on-the-fly based on the currently selected field. There are two types of picture controls - one bound to a binary data stored in the form and one bound to an external link. ...
