Have you verified the IE security settings?
They would need to have domaincontroller set in their Local Intranet or trusted sites zone for data conenctions to work correctly.
Have you looked at Database Accelerator (DBXL)? Sounds like you have a fairly complex solution and DBXL web services make things so much easier and performant, ...

Hey Jason this is very doable.
however you need more than just InfoPath and i am guessing you do not have much IT support if you are not getting 2007.
for 100 dollars you can add an Active Directory web service which will do everything you describe without code and very simply, you would just need a server to place it on. With it you can ID the ...

Hey Michael.
I like to be as code free as possible so I can appreciate what you are doing!
Here are some ideas.
Add a submit dc to your form which on a button submits the current form to a form library. This can be a "hidden" / obscured, utility library just for the purpose of triggering a workflow. You can ...

If you are just looking up data, secondary data connections than they would probably be faster is they were SP lists, rather than access tables.
However if they are remote, and since you cannot query a secondary source unless it is a web service, then it may not make too much of a difference. If you could have this data local to the users ...

That way on 1/1 it will automatically take the new year.

Have the permissions on the UDC container or site changed?
Have you tried with Admin credentials?

I do not think the AD Web Service has a setting for this unless you restricted the domain. You could contact Qdabra support directly and ask.
However on the server where the web service is installed you may be able to set the DNS so that it prefers one DC over and another. This is just a guess, but would be where I would look.

Hey Duane.
This looks like an issue with your primary key in your child tables, specifically Leave_Data.
You either need to generate the correct unique ID in your form so that it does not duplicate or have Identitiy on in SQL so that one is generated automatically.
Your submit is blocked since the new Leave-Data record either does not have a ID ...

Hey Gary.
The issue is that manager email is not stored in Active Directory.
You could add it as a custom field.
Or you would need to be able to get the manager's username in AD and then requery for their user data secondarily.
Have you looked at Qdabra's AD Web Service?
