Thanks! Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by shniggens on 01-06-2012 Re: QRules insert and "before"/"posn". Here's the two xpaths I want to match - /my:myFields/my:Pullsheet/my:VenueGearConcat /my:myFields/my:Pullsheet/my:PullSheet/my:GearVenueConcat Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by shniggens on 01-06-2012 Re: QRules insert and "before"/"posn". That's a step in the right direction. I need to insert it before a field in the table that matches a field outside the table. I tried this formula - concat("Insert /parent=/my:myFields/my:Pullsheet /child=my:PullSheet /before=", GearVenueConcat, "[", GearVenueConcat, "=", VenueGearConcat, ... Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by shniggens on 01-06-2012 Re: QRules insert and "before"/"posn". OK . . . is there a way to count the rows up to an instance of a certain field. For instance, count how many rows exist before the category field contains a certain string, and then insert before that? Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by shniggens on 01-06-2012 Re: QRules insert and "before"/"posn". The reason I need it inserted into the correct "batch" is I have some preceeding-sibling filtering going on with the category field. They need to be adjacent. Any other ideas? Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by shniggens on 01-05-2012 Re: Convert time to text? Date too? Would that work on a drop-down list box? If I am concatting the date and time into another field in a repeating table (which is where I applied your formula), and then lookup the concatted field in a drop-down list box, where should I apply the FormatDate? Posted to General (Forum) by shniggens on 01-05-2012 Re: Convert time to text? Date too? Great, got it, thanks! Now, to convert the date text from 05/01/2012 to Wednesday, May 01, 2012. ; ) Posted to General (Forum) by shniggens on 01-05-2012 Re: Convert time to text? Date too? This formula from Jimmy worked - concat(substring(field1, 6, 2), "/", substring(field1, 9, 2), "/", substring(field1, 1, 4), " ", substring("0", 1, substring(field2, 1, 2) mod 12 + 12 * (substring(field2, 1, 2) mod 12 = 0) < 10), substring(field2, 1, 2) mod 12 + 12 * (substring(field2, 1, 2) mod 12 = 0), ... Posted to General (Forum) by shniggens on 01-05-2012 Convert time to text? Date too? I need to get the text value of a formatted time and date, so that I can concat them in a field to later be available in a drop-down list. I have 2 seperate fields, one for date, one for time. I was able to successfully convert the date into another field into a mm/dd/yyyy format. That's good enough. But I'm only ... Posted to General (Forum) by shniggens on 01-04-2012 Re: QRules insert and "before"/"posn". I'm already doing that, so that it appears when filtered in the correct category. But my entire table is ordered by category. So when I pull in the first batch it's rows 1- 30. When I pull in the second batch it's 31 -50. Etc. When I add a custom row to the second batch, I would like it to appear at row ...
