This should be easy and probably is, but it has killed my day. I created an expense form in Infopath, that form gets routed back to me and my manager. How do I get the form to open in Infopath and not a browser? The document library is set as open in Client Application, but it is not working. Am ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by claydevin on 05-17-2011 Re: Archiving - With attachments. Yes, the fields were promoted when posting but we were more concerned with having a Total field for each form and not knowing how to differentiate which Total goes to what form. But... selecting "This Content Type" I'm assuming will address our concern. Thank you again! Posted to General (Forum) by claydevin on 02-21-2011 Re: Archiving - With attachments. Thank you so much for that. We started using the method you described, but have come across another issue. We have 6 forms on the same site (Expenses, Purchase Requests...). When we publish the forms, how do we get the fields into the views? We add the columns to be listed available in the ... Posted to General (Forum) by claydevin on 02-17-2011 Re: Archiving - With attachments. You nailed it... we were making lots of structural changes. We hadn't gone down the Site Content Type path until now. THANK YOU for pushing us that direction!!!! Posted to General (Forum) by claydevin on 02-11-2011 Re: Archiving - With attachments. BUMP!!! We can't really take that multiple library route because the libraries would be so expansive. We essentially need the XML to be independent of the Template.xsn but still include the attachments. You may be getting a call from us sometime today. Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by claydevin on 01-19-2011 Unknown Error - When loading old forms We are absolutely stumped. Came in today to find we can't open any Infopath form in a browser. We have 6 different document libraries that use Infopath and all 6 now get this error. Once we click on a link, the 'Loading Form" dialog box comes up and behind that is the error screen with Unknown Error in ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by claydevin on 01-14-2011 Archiving - With attachments. Our current expense requests need to be completely re-worked and we would like to archive everything we currently have to a new document library. We are over the limit of using Site Templates and Include Content. Thoughts? Posted to General (Forum) by claydevin on 12-22-2010 Flagging a row in a repeating table We have spent the day trying to use some type of function to flag items in a repeating table that are past due and dont have a completed date. If row two below doesnt have a completed date, send the milestone value to a field in the form. If this doesnt make sense or the table below distorts, i will take a screenshot. ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by claydevin on 12-14-2010 Re: When updating the form template and publishing, the old forms are updated. Ernesto, Thanks for the link, but it does not seem to be working for us. We need the forms we created in the past to stay the same, while the forms created after we publish to have the new changes.... all in the same document library. We are using browser based forms...
