I just don't like having a dozen rules - that is why I would take the secondary XML approach. See attached. :)
-
xdXDocument:GetDOM("Market Country")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW[count(current()/preceding-sibling::my:grpMarketCountry) + 1]/d:Title
Looks like the XPath to the country field is actually "d:Title" & the namespace prefix was missing before grpMarketCountry. :)

Sorry, I hadn't seen this message - what node is the rule on? Can you attach a copy of your form to a reply?
-
Usually, I'd recommend a secondary data source for something like this - but here is a copy of your form back, I set a default value on the serial number field that is effectively the same as the calc'd value, and then added a single rule to set field 1 if the value contained "a" - hopefully that will get you started. :)
-
So - is this going to be static text? any time the letter is "a." it would be Area of Interest?
-
I must have been unclear - can you attach a sample form with what you are currently trying? Then I have something I can work from. :)
-
How odd - I tried a little test form and when my query returned no data, I could just click the "insert" widget on the form and it inserted a new blank item for me to fill out - Are the data fields in your main DS in a repeating group?
-
Since the field is in a 2DS, unless you manually modify the 2DS schema, it will be a string datatype. Try setting to "false" (lowercase string) and "true" instead of the true and false functions, and try in your validation checking for the strings "true" or "false" rather than using the functions - does that ...

Well - I'm guessing that your mapping file uses the list GUID - so when you change the URL, the list can't be found - there is no list on the new site w/ the same GUID. I'll fix up your mapping file and email it back to you.
-
Yes. As I said above - the node in the mapping (which you have a data connection to) is SharePointListURL. So, in a rule right before your SubmitToSharePointList rule, you select "Set a field's value". For the field to set, select the mapping data source - looks like yours is named mappingAgencyLocation. In that data source, select ...
